Martin is a qualified MOT tester and qualified  Motor Vehicle Engineer to HNC standard. Before setting up his own business Martin worked and trained at many local main dealers including the following makes : Nissan, VW / Audi, Chrysler, Jeep , Dodge Saab, Suzki and Vauxhaul. Martin has also done a considerable period in breakdown recovery and breakdown recovery management.

Martin has the latest diagnostic equipment and can diagnose many common faults such as ABS problems, engine management problems and air bag faults etc. martin can also undertake most routine repairs and replacements on items such as such as starter motor , radiator and cooling systems , alternator , fuel pump,  brakes , clutches head gaskets etc.

Even at an early age Martins automotive genius was apparent, here while the rest of the family watches the Oulton Park races, Martin ( seated in chair) contemplates whether that panel gap is a tad wide. After finishing school Martin trained for 10 years as a motor vehicle engineer at Stockport College of Technology 1984 to 1994.

The above photo was taken around 1970, Martin has kept the Rover running since he was old enough to hold a spanner, here is the same car today. Martin has serviced this car regularly since the 1980s . Regular servicing is the key to longevity and Martin is happy to undertake all forms of servicing work on  most makes and models from classic cars through to the latest vehicles. We have a flexible approach to vehicle servicing and can undertake anything from a simple oil change through to a comprehensive full service.

BMW 840

To modern supercar


Martin converted this BMW 840 supercar to use a Kenlow electric fan which improves fuel consumption. Despite being a 4.4 litre super car, Martin has got this one doing 30mpg on the motorway. By extending the life of older cars and improving their efficiency we hare helping to protect the environment much more than buying new cars as most of a cars pollution comes from manufacturing it in the first place.
